Last updated: October 6, 2026. This policy explains what CoverCraft collects, what we never store, and how your data is used when you use our AI cover letter generator.
Text you submit. When you generate a letter, your role details, skills, company notes, job description and existing letter text are sent to our AI provider (Zhipu AI, "BigModel") solely to produce your result. We do not store your submitted content on our servers.
Usage data on your device. Your free-tier usage count, activation status, and your most recent letters are kept in your browser's local storage on your own device. This data never leaves your browser.
Anonymous statistics. When a report is generated, we may record anonymous keyword statistics (for example, which skills appear in job descriptions) to improve our products. These statistics contain no names, contact details, or identifying information.
Purchases are processed by our payment providers (Creem and Payoneer). We never see or store your card details. Payments are one-time purchases of an activation key; no subscription or recurring billing is used.
CoverCraft runs on Cloudflare (hosting and network). AI generation is provided by Zhipu AI. Each of these providers processes only the minimum data needed to operate the service and is subject to its own privacy policy.
You can delete everything we know about you by clearing this site's data in your browser settings (local storage). Because we hold no account for you, there is nothing else to delete on our side.
